1. About Hostelian

Hostelian is an online platform that enables users to discover, view, and book hostels and PG accommodations. Hostelian acts only as a technology intermediary and does not own, manage, or operate any hostel or PG listed on the platform.

2. User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Platform.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You agree not to impersonate any other person or entity and not to use another user’s account without permission.

4. Listings and Bookings

Accommodation details are provided by hostel/PG owners.
Hostelian does not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or quality of listings.
Booking confirmation depends on acceptance by the property owner.
Any disputes between users and property owners must be resolved directly.

5. Payments

Payments made through Hostelian are processed using third-party payment gateways. Hostelian does not store card, UPI, or banking details.

All fees displayed are subject to change.
Payment confirmation does not guarantee accommodation unless accepted by the property.
Refunds, if any, are governed by the applicable refund policy.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund terms may vary based on the property and booking type. Hostelian shall not be responsible for delays or denials of refunds by property owners.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Platform for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
Post false, misleading, or harmful information
Harass, abuse, or harm other users or property owners
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and software on Hostelian are the property of Hostelian or its licensors. Unauthorized use, copying, or distribution is prohibited.

9. Limitation of Liability

Hostelian shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Platform, including accommodation-related disputes.

10. Termination

Hostelian reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable laws, or platform policies without prior notice.

11. Privacy

Your use of Hostelian is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal information.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Courts located in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

13. Changes to Terms

Hostelian may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
